Just8it is an AI calorie and fitness tracker. You log your meals — including by taking a photo — track your body metrics and progress photos, and an AI assistant gives you estimates and guidance. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the app for you:

Account and sign-in

• Your email address and the one-time code used to sign in.

Your profile and body data

• Sex, date of birth or age, and height.
• Weight, body-fat percentage, and muscle percentage that you enter.
• Your everyday activity level and your goal (lose, gain, maintain, or recomposition).

Food, nutrition and activity logs

• The meals and foods you log and their calories and macros (protein, carbs, fat, fibre, sugar), including saved dishes.
• Steps and calories burned that you enter or that your device provides.

Photos

• Food photos you take so the AI can estimate the meal's macros.
• Body / progress photos you choose to add so you can track changes over time.

Subscription and technical data

• Your subscription status (whether you have an active trial or plan).
• Basic device and app information, and anonymous usage analytics.
• Any feedback or bug reports you send us.

2. What we don't collect

• We do not collect or store your payment-card details — all payments are handled by Apple.
• We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, or microphone input.
• The camera and photo library are used only for the pictures you choose to add; we do not access your other photos.

3. How we use your data

• To provide the core features: logging food, tracking body metrics, and showing your trends.
• To estimate calories and macros from the photos and text you send to the AI assistant.
• To calculate personalised daily calorie and macro targets from your profile and results.
• To manage your subscription and send you sign-in and essential transactional emails.
• To keep the app secure, fix bugs, and understand overall usage through anonymous analytics.

4. AI processing

When you send a food photo, a progress photo, or a message to the AI assistant, that content is sent to OpenAI, which processes it to generate nutrition estimates and coaching responses. Under OpenAI's API terms, content sent through their API is not used to train their models, and is retained by them only for a limited period for abuse monitoring before deletion.

5. Health data and legal bases

Some of the data you enter — your weight, body-fat and muscle figures, and your body photos — is health-related and is treated as a special category of personal data under the GDPR. We process it:

• on the basis of your consent, which you give by choosing to enter this data and use these features; and
• to perform our agreement with you and provide the service you asked for.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the data or your account. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Just8it, and only as needed:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and secure file storage.
• OpenAI — AI analysis of your food photos, progress photos, and assistant messages.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Apple — payments and in-app purchases.
• Resend — sign-in codes and transactional emails.
• TelemetryDeck — privacy-friendly, anonymous analytics.
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

7. Storage and security

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and held on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls. Your photos are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data.

8. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app; we then delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to meet a legal obligation.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@wordica.io and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Children

Just8it is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the app. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a revised date, and we will tell you about material changes in the app or by email.

These terms are an agreement between you and ILARO OÜ, registered in Estonia, European Union, the operator of Just8it. Contact: hello@wordica.io

By downloading or using Just8it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Just8it is

Just8it is an AI-assisted calorie and fitness tracker. It lets you log food (including by photo), track your weight, body composition and progress photos, see your trends, and ask an AI assistant for estimates and guidance. Features may change, improve, or be removed over time.

2. Not medical or dietary advice

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Just8it. By using the app you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity that happens under it. Please give accurate information and keep it up to date, so that your targets and estimates are meaningful.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Just8it is offered as a subscription, which may include a free trial. Subscriptions are sold and billed through Apple's in-app purchase system at the price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase.

• Your subscription auto-renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If you start a free trial, it converts into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• You manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account (apple.com/bill), not through us.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for unused periods.

6. Your content

The photos and data you add are yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them — including through our AI provider — solely to operate the app and provide the features you use. You confirm that you have the right to upload the images you add, and you agree not to upload other people's images without their consent or any unlawful content.

7. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the app: no attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell it, and no using it to break the law or infringe others' rights.

8. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Apple subscription — cancel that separately through Apple. We may suspend or end access to the app if you breach these terms or to protect the service and its users.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the lesser of (a) the amount you paid us in the six months before the claim, or (b) the amount you paid for the subscription the claim relates to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, and the Estonian courts have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

If a dispute arises, we agree to try to resolve it informally first — please contact us and allow at least 30 days of good-faith negotiation. Where permitted, any dispute not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the International Court of Commercial Arbitration (ICAC), seated in Estonia, in English, before a single arbitrator. To the extent permitted by law, claims will be brought individually and not as a class or representative action.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a revised date, and significant changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continuing to use Just8it after a change means you accept the updated terms.
